What is the ruling on one whose menstruation ceased after two days, then blood began to flow again in small amounts intermittently during her days of purity, then she saw two drops of blood before Fajr, then she purified herself and intended to fast, and intercourse occurred, then light bleeding occurred after intercourse?

The blood discharged on the third, fourth, and fifth days is menstrual blood, because there was no separation between it and the preceding blood for less than the minimum period of menstruation (fifteen days). There is no sin in the intercourse that occurred between them. Her fast on the sixth day is valid due to the cessation of menstruation before dawn and the formation of the intention during the night. This is according to the view of talfīq (combining different opinions). As for the view of saḥb (extension), prayer is not permissible or valid, and intercourse is not lawful during the period of purity that occurs between the two blood discharges.
