Does paying a mobile phone bill for a divorced neighbor who has no one to support her count as alleviating her distress?

Paying the mobile bill of a neighbor with the intention of charity for the sake of Allah is considered a Sadaqah (charitable act), as long as the mobile phone is used for permissible matters. This act could also be a form of relieving distress if the phone's owner is in distress and wishes to alleviate it by making a call.
