A divorce in which the husband has the right to take back his wife twice. If he divorces her a third time, she becomes a stranger to him and is not lawful for him until she marries another man. It is not a condition for divorce to occur that the woman hears or knows about it. Divorce pronounced in anger has three states: The first: A slight anger that does not affect the husband's will, so his divorce is valid and has occurred. The second: Extreme anger where he does not know what he is saying, so his divorce does not occur. The third: Intense anger that affects the will without the loss of consciousness and perception; this is a matter of disagreement among scholars.
