How did the angels know that the successor would cause corruption on earth and shed blood, and did they have knowledge of his human form?

It appears that Allah informed the angels that the Khalifa (vicegerent) would be humankind, who would inhabit the earth, implement divine commands, and bring about its betterment. The angels learned about the corruption caused by some people on Earth either through Allah's direct communication to them, or from the Preserved Tablet (Al-Lawh Al-Mahfuz), or by deducing it from the divine news. There is a difference of opinion as to whether Allah informed them about the Khalifa before the creation of Adam (peace be upon him) or after his formation.
