Is it permissible for a poor person, entrusted with distributing a rich person's Zakat, to take from it for himself without informing the owner of the money?

It is permissible for the poor agent to take from the Zakat money with which he was entrusted, provided that the Zakat giver did not specify for him a particular recipient or individuals upon whom to spend his Zakat.
