Is money earned from a search engine reward program—which requires using software to connect from America to benefit from it—considered unlawful (haram)?

If the participant is required to be in a specific country, it is not permissible to circumvent their condition by subscribing through a program that suggests you are in that country, in order to earn points and incentives, while you are not.
