Is it permissible to give a private notebook belonging to one of the teachers — which is sold to his students — to another student who is not among this teacher's students, so that he may photocopy it?

It is not permissible to give a teacher's notes to someone who photocopies them without his permission if he prohibits their distribution except with his permission; this is to protect the copyright and all other intellectual property rights.
