Behavioral da'wah (invitation to Islam) is one of the greatest methods of inviting people to Allah. It is based on a Muslim applying their religion so that people may emulate them. The foundation for the acceptance of da'wah is sincerity of inner intention and correctness of purpose. The da'i (caller to Islam) is required to take the means for the acceptance of da'wah by following the legitimate Islamic guidelines in their commanding and forbidding, and by using an engaging and varied approach while considering the condition of the invitee, and by utilizing every valid means that assists in da'wah, such as visits, gifts, and smiling.
