Is pleasure forbidden in Islam, and what is Islam's view and stance on pleasure?

The pleasures of this world are divided into three categories: a pleasure followed by a greater pain, which are the pleasures of thebellious sinners, whom Allah describes by saying: "You have exhausted your good things in your worldly life and enjoyed them." And a pleasure not followed by pain in the Hereafter, but immersion in it leads to missing out on high ranks; these are the permissible pleasures of the heedless, which they do not use to aid them in good deeds. And a pleasure for which the servant is rewarded; this is the pleasure of the elite among the believers who enjoy it with the intention of using it to obey Allah and refrain from His disobedience, such as eating and drinking and praising Allah for them, and fulfilling lawful desires with the intention of reward, which makes it fall under the category of acts of obedience.
