Is it permissible for a nineteen-year-old young man, who has older, unmarried brothers, to marry a girl he met in order to avoid associating with non-Muslim women, even though his relationship with her has negatively affected his studies and other matters, and he possesses the financial means for marriage?

The young man is advised to marry a girl who possesses the qualities of a righteous wife, and to sever the illicit relationship with her, because Islam does not approve of love relationships outside the framework of marriage. He must repent to Allah and resolve not to return to such relationships, while avoiding places where the girl is present and occupying himself with the company of righteous men. As for the issue of marrying before older siblings, it is not considered a problem if the young man is capable of marrying, is in need of it, and has the financial means. He should seize the opportunity to marry, in compliance with the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "O young men, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so, for it helps him lower his gaze and guard his chastity. And whoever cannot afford it, let him fast, for it will be a shield for him."
