What is the ruling on the tobacco debt, and must it be paid to the creditor, or is there no sin in not paying it?

It is forbidden to smoke or buy tobacco due to the agreed-upon harm it causes. It is forbidden for the seller to sell it or to profit from its price, in accordance with the hadith: "Indeed, when Allah prohibits something, He also prohibits its price." If the seller is not entitled to the price, it should be taken from the buyer and spent on the welfare of Muslims. The buyer is not obliged to pay the price of the tobacco to its owner unless refraining from doing so leads to legal action and a judgment is issued in his favor.
