How can one get rid of masturbation and the subsequent viewing of forbidden films, given the desire to marry and the father's refusal to discuss this matter?

Masturbation is not permissible due to its harms, nor is watching pornographic films and images, as they lead to committing masturbation. The remedy for lust is marriage, and for those who cannot marry, they should fast. A father's defiance in not marrying off his son is an unrighteous act. A father is not obligated to marry off his son, but it is recommended if the father is wealthy and the son is poor. The son should fear Allah, stay away from sins, seek righteous companionship, fast frequently, lower his gaze, and occupy himself with what benefits him.
