Does believing a soothsayer prevent one's prayers from being accepted for forty days, and does this include all other deeds, and will a disbeliever die in a state of disbelief if they die during this period?

Whoever comes to a diviner and asks him about something, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights. And whoever believes him in what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad. Prayer was specifically mentioned because it is the pillar of the religion, so the same applies to his fasting. And whoever believes him while holding the conviction that he does not know the unseen, some scholars have said this constitutes disbelief that expels one from the fold of Islam, while others have said it is a lesser disbelief, a major sin, and deprives him of the reward of his prayer. However, his prayer fulfills the obligation, even if he is not rewarded for it, and he is not required to repeat it.
