What is the ruling on a woman going out to the market at night when it is possible for her to go out during the day?

A woman should not leave her home except out of necessity, and she must adhere to the etiquette of Islamic law when going out. She should not display her adornments (tabarruj), nor wear perfume, nor make movements that attract men. This is in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "And abide in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of [the times of] ignorance" and His saying: "And let them not stamp their feet so as to make known what they conceal of their adornment." It is also stipulated that the place and time must be safe; otherwise, she should not go out except in the company of a mahram, for fear of danger.
