Where is the humiliation and abjection that was inflicted upon the Children of Israel today, despite their widespread influence and their arrogance, and their doing as they please?

A Muslim must believe that the word of Allah is truth, and that any perceived contradiction in it is due to human understanding. The verses that speak of the imposition of humiliation and destitution upon the Jews, such as the Almighty's saying: "Indignity has been struck upon them wherever they are encountered, except for a covenant from Allah and a rope from the people. And they have incurred wrath from Allah, and destitution has been struck upon them" (Al 'Imran: 112), demonstrate that they are not safe from humiliation except through a covenant from Allah (Islam) or by seeking help from powerful tribes. This is the reality of the Jews today, as the nations of disbelief aid them, which removes overt humiliation from them, but the humiliation of hearts remains with them. "They will not harm you except with [some] annoyance. And if they fight you, they will show you their backs [in flight]; then they will not be aided" (Al 'Imran: 111), and "You think they are united, but their hearts are diverse. That is because they are a people who do not reason" (Al-Hashr: 14). This inner humiliation is evident on their faces.
