Does fear of being denied entry and fingerprinted constitute a valid impediment that permits a wife to exit her state of ihram after stipulating such a condition, and does she owe a compensatory sacrifice (dam) or must she remain in her state of ihram?

If a wife enters into ihram (definition) for Hajj but does not complete the rituals, she is not permitted to exit ihram unless she is prevented or hindered from completing the rituals. Mere suspicion does not permit exiting ihram. Her condition is beneficial if she is prevented from Hajj, for then she may exit ihram with no penalty upon her.

If she does not perform the rituals after entering ihram, her ruling is that of one who missed Hajj. She must go to Makkah to exit ihram with an 'Umrah (definition) and offer a sacrifice (hady). If she is unable, she should fast ten days, and she must perform Hajj in the following year.
