What should a girl who has recently converted to Islam do if she is forced to return to working in a church, and what is the ruling on her current work in a beauty salon due to the unavailability of other job opportunities?

If a Muslim woman is invited to work in a church, she must avoid it as much as possible. It is permissible for her to use dissimulation (tawriyah) or even lie to be free from it. As for working in the field of cosmetics, there are many caveats if it is for disbelieving women. However, if the matter becomes difficult and she finds no other work except in a church or cosmetics, then working in cosmetics is more appropriate, because its caveats are less severe than working in a church, which might lead to polytheism (shirk) or assisting in it. If it is possible for a trustworthy Muslim to assist her with money or sponsorship, then that is their duty.
