Wet impurity transfers to whatever pure object it touches, such as the body and clothes, and renders it impure. If no trace of the impurity is found on the touched object, then either the transferred impurity was very slight and excused by the majority of scholars, or the trace of the impurity disappeared due to dryness. However, dryness is not sufficient to purify anything other than the earth from impurity.
