What should a wife do regarding her husband who abandons prayer, given that she is the mother of three of his children, and he is a righteous husband and father except for his abandonment of prayer?

If the marriage contract was made while the husband was abandoning prayer, it is invalid, and the wife must separate from him. If he embraces Islam, the contract should be renewed; otherwise, Allah will provide her with someone better. If the wife also was not praying at the time of the contract, the marriage remains valid if both were upon faith. However, if both were apostates, the marriage is invalid. The husband's statement to his wife that he prays for her sake does not make him an apostate, because he prayed to Allah to please her.
