What should a pregnant woman do whose urine leaks in drops, whether intentionally or unintentionally, while she is using a diaper, and should she perform ablution and ignore the obsessive thoughts?
If what is happening is merely a waswas (whisper/temptation from Satan), then pay no attention to it. Its cure is to stop dwelling on it.
However, if you are certain that drops of urine are coming out, then you must perform ' (washing oneself after relieving oneself) and purify whatever has soiled your body and clothes, and perform wudu' (ablution) for prayer. Try to find a time when these drops stop for prayer.
If you are afflicted with urinary incontinence (sils) and cannot find a time to pray with proper purification, then perform istinja', take precautions (e.g., wear a pad), perform wudu' after the time for prayer has begun, and then pray the obligatory prayer and the supererogatory ones.
The Malikis are of the view that it is not obligatory to purify these drops from the body and clothing if they are exiting without your control, even if only once a day.
It is preferable to strive for purification as much as possible. If that becomes difficult, then there is no harm in adopting the opinion of the Malikis.
