What is the ruling on using creams or pills to enlarge the cheeks or other areas of the body, and is this considered changing Allah's creation?

There is no harm in using pure creams that disappear over time, provided they cause no harm and involve no deception of the suitor. The basic principle regarding things is permissibility unless there is evidence to indicate their prohibition. However, if it is medically proven that they are harmful, then their use is forbidden, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: “There should be neither harm nor reciprocation of harm.”

What adheres to the aforementioned conditions is not considered an impermissible alteration of Allah’s creation, because the forbidden alteration of Allah’s creation is that which is permanent. As for that which is not permanent, is beneficial, and is free from harm and resemblance to disbelievers and transgressors, it is permissible, like kohl and henna.
