Is doubt considered all-consuming if it occurs one day during prayer and another day during ablution, or must it be daily in the same act of worship?

Doubt is considered chronic in ablution or prayer if it occurs daily, even once. However, for someone who doubts ablution on one day and prayer on another, their doubt is not considered chronic by some scholars, as doubt in ablution and prayer are not conflated. Chronic doubt is that which recurs every day, even once. Doubt in the objectives (like prayer) is not combined with doubt in the means (like ablution). So, if doubt occurs one day in prayer and another day in ablution, it is negated. Some scholars hold that all purification is one entity, thus doubt in ablution is combined with doubt in ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) or impurity, and vice versa.
