Is a marriage considered invalid if it was concluded without a guardian (wali) for a newly converted Muslim woman, knowing that her family is non-Muslim, and she married herself based on the Hanafī school of thought?

The guardian (wali) is a condition for the validity of marriage, according to the preponderant opinion. The Hanafis and 'Ata' ibn Abi Rabah disagreed with this. If the one who conducted the marriage contract was a shaykh, then it is valid; otherwise, it must be renewed. The arbitration councils or one of the just Muslims should undertake the marriage of the woman if there is no Muslim guardian, as her disbelieving guardians have no guardianship over her. It is preferable that this be done through Islamic centers.
