Is it obligatory to forgive someone who put their nose on my cheek when shaking hands?
The Sunnah is for a man to shake hands with his brother. Kissing and the like are مكروه (disliked), and Haram (forbidden) if done with lust. If a man does that with lust, he is sinful and must repent with its conditions. Forgiveness is recommended and entails great virtue.
