What is the ruling on kissing the Mus'haf after it falls from a high place?

We do not know of any evidence for the permissibility of kissing the Mus'haf (Quran), but there is no harm in kissing it if a person does so out of veneration and respect, especially when it falls, following the example of what was narrated about Ikrimah ibn Abi Jahl.
