What is the best advice for teaching a four-year-old child the Arabic language, the Qur'an and the correct religion in an unsupportive society?
You have done well in guiding your son to learn the Arabic language, for through it the religion of Islam is understood and the texts of revelation are comprehended. For teaching a child the Arabic language in a non-Arab country, two parties should participate in this: the school or the Quranic circle, and the family. In school, the child finds the curriculum and the spirit of competition, and the family is responsible for supporting the process of teaching the child Arabic and religious matters. This is done by communicating in Arabic within the home, guiding the child to interact with appropriate Arabic programs and websites, and benefiting from useful educational projects for children.
