How can a husband honor his mother who refuses to speak to him or accept money from him after an argument between his wife and his mother, knowing that he is in another country and cannot return until the summer?

The wife should treat her husband's family well, help her husband be dutiful to his parents, and overlook their shortcomings. This brings affection and increases the husband's respect for his wife. Therefore, she should repeatedly attempt reconciliation with her mother-in-law, seeking Allah's pleasure and assisting her husband in his dutifulness to his mother. The husband should also repeatedly attempt to communicate with his mother and appease her, involve someone who has influence over her, and seek Allah's help and supplicate to Him. If the mother insists on estrangement, then there is no sin upon the husband, and her anger will not harm him as long as he has strived to please her and has not fallen short in his dutifulness to her.
