What is the ruling on a husband who accuses his wife of treachery, abandons her, and threatens her with divorce after thirty years of marriage, merely because she wanted to reconcile with her brother whom the wife had alienated due to the husband accusing him of theft?

"Maintaining kinship ties with one's brother is obligatory upon his sister and is not negated by theft or any other transgressing act. It is not permissible for her to sever ties with him, even if her husband commands her to do so, because 'there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator.' However, maintaining kinship ties should not infringe upon the husband's rights, such as visiting her brother without his permission. The questioner must repent to Allah and maintain kinship ties with her brother. She should not obey her husband in severing these ties. It is not permissible for her husband to punish her by abandonment or accuse her of betrayal. The husband is not advised to divorce unless the marital life reaches circumstances that necessitate divorce, while warning him against the corrupting effects of divorce."
