Does magic, the evil eye, or envy delay sustenance and marriage, even though everything is written in the Preserved Tablet, and the Hadith of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, states: "The pens have dried concerning all that is to be. So if all of creation were to gather to benefit you with something Allah had not written for you, they would not be able to do so. And if they were to gather to harm you with something Allah had not written for you, they would not be able to do so"? And what is the explanation for a bewitched girl marrying after ruqyah? And are pulsations in the abdomen evidence of ingested magic?

Magic is real and has an effect on the enchanted person by Allah's decree and destiny. It can cause separation between spouses, aversion and attraction, and other harms. This is indicated by the Almighty's saying: "But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah’s leave." Magic can be an illusion, such as making a rope appear like a snake, or an aversion and attraction that affects feelings and emotions, making a wife appear ugly in her husband's eyes, for example. The sorcerer uses devils and draws near to them by slaughtering and supplicating to them, and by disobeying Allah, so that the devils obey him in harming people through aversion, attraction, and separation, and this is major polytheism (shirk akbar).
