ما مدى صحة الحديث: "الإيمان في القلب والإسلام علانية"؟

Scholars have differed regarding the authenticity of the hadith "Islam is outward, and faith is in the heart." Some have deemed it hasan (good) due to the reliability of its narrator, Ali ibn Mas'adah, while others have weakened it. However, some venerable scholars, such as Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Kathir, Ibn Rajab, and Ibn al-Qayyim, have used it as evidence.
