Why was the phrase "Except the Messenger of Allah" chosen as a marginal title, and does this mean that uprising and denunciation only occur when the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, is insulted, and not when the Companions are insulted or when the creed and sacred things are violated?

Muslims are not permitted to condone any contempt shown towards the sacred tenets of Islam, and they must defend their religion. It is known that insulting the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and showing contempt for the creed is undoubtedly an act of disbelief (kufr), based on the Almighty's saying: "And if you ask them, they will surely say, 'We were only indulging in idle talk and amusement.' Say, 'Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?' Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief." As for insulting the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), it is forbidden, but it does not constitute disbelief according to the majority of scholars, due to the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "Do not insult my companions, for if one of you were to spend the equivalent of Mount Uhud in gold, it would not reach the amount of one handful of one of them, nor half of it." The mentioned statement indicates the great status of the Prophet (peace be upon him) among Muslims.
