No one has the right to force a woman to marry someone she does not desire. Islam encourages marriage to those whose religion and character are pleasing.
It is not permissible to marry a corrupt young man for fear of corrupting one's religion and morals.
A woman is not entitled to marry herself or others without the permission of her guardian (wali). Guardianship in marriage belongs to the father, then to the male agnates ('asabah), then to the ruler (sultan) or his representative.
One must show kindness to the mother, even if she is corrupt.
