What is the ruling on temporarily removing the niqab to avert fitna (strife/temptation) and danger facing women who wear niqab in Egypt?

A Muslim, who is steadfast in their religion in these times, must be patient in the face of harassment. You must adhere to your legal hijab, and do not remove your niqab unless the matter reaches a verifiable harm where you fear for your safety from evildoers. In such a case, there is no sin upon you for removing it to avert harm, provided you do not leave the house except out of necessity.
