It has not been authentically established that Ibn 'Umar performed ' on behalf of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. However, some scholars have transmitted the permissibility of this, such as Al-Subki, who argued that Ibn 'Umar performed 'Umrah on behalf of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, after his death, without any will from him.
