Is there a concession to facilitate ritual bathing (ghusl) in cases of laziness or cold water, in order to avoid falling into hypocrisy?
Ghusl (ritual bath) is obligatory for one who is in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity). If one is unable to perform ghusl due to lack of water or inability to use it, they should perform tayammum (dry ablution) and pray. The coldness of the water is not an excuse to delay ghusl as long as it is possible to heat it. Otherwise, tayammum is a concession. Prayer is of great importance, and it is not permissible to delay it past its prescribed time. One must hasten to perform ghusl to offer it, for Allah has warned those who are negligent in this matter.
