Is it permissible to delay ghusl (ritual bath) and combine prayers for several days due to water scarcity and high prices, and the inability to afford it for ghusl from janabah (major ritual impurity)? Ritual bathing (ghusl) does not consume much water; the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to bathe with one sa' (approximately two liters). Follow the Sunnah in ghusl to fulfill your obligation and avoid abandoning prayer, for abandoning it is among the greatest sins and there is no excuse for it. Hasten to perform ghusl when in a state of janabah (ritual impurity) without extravagance, and seek refuge with Allah from evil thoughts.
