Is it permissible to raise one's hands during supplication when not on the pulpit, such as when the supplicant is on television?

There is no harm in raising the hands during supplication (Du'a) except in cases excluded by the Sharia, such as the sermonizer's supplication on Friday and supplication during bowing (Ruku') and prostration (Sujud).
