If the mother and daughter reconciled over the daughter's share of the father's inheritance during his lifetime, then the reconciliation is void and has no legal standing. The land is included in the mother's estate, and the father's inheritance is a right for all his heirs. However, if the reconciliation occurred after the father's death and the daughter knew her share of the inheritance, then the reconciliation is valid and permissible, as it is a sale, and the land is her property, and you have no right to it. There is no sin upon the mother.
