How sound or weak is the Hadith: "My life is good for you; I speak to you and you speak to me. And my death is good for you; your deeds are presented to me, and if they are good, I praise Allah for your sake, and if they are bad, I seek forgiveness for you"? And to what extent can one benefit from it if it is weak?

The latter part of the hadith is weak: "My life is good for you; you speak and it is spoken to you. And my death is good for you; your deeds are presented to me. Whatever good I see, I praise Allah for it, and whatever evil I see, I seek forgiveness for you." The beginning of the hadith is authentic: "Indeed, Allah has angels who roam, conveying to me the salutations of my Ummah." A weak hadith does not establish a ruling, but it can be used for the virtues of deeds under specific conditions.
