Is the remembrance of "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partners, and there is no might or power except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great" sufficient for the remembrance of "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and there is no might or power except with Allah"? And is it better in reward?

The remembrance of Allah Almighty is one of the greatest acts of closeness to Him. Encouragement has been given to the remembrance of "Lā ilāha illallāh" (There is no god but Allah) and "Lā hawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh" (There is no might nor power except with Allah), and both are among the enduring good deeds (al-Bāqiyāt as-Sālihāt).

Regarding the virtue of adding "wahdahu lā sharīka lah" (He is One, without partner) to "Lā ilāha illallāh," the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best supplication is the supplication of the Day of Arafah, and the best of what I and the Prophets before me have said is: Lā ilāha illallāh wahdahu lā sharīka lah."

Furthermore, the virtue of reciting "Lā ilāha illallāh wahdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa Huwa alā kulli shay'in Qadīr" (There is no god but Allah, He is One, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and all praise, and He is over all things competent) one hundred times, is that it is equivalent to freeing ten slaves, one hundred good deeds are written for the reciter, one hundred sins are erased from him, and it serves as a protection for him from Satan.

Therefore, saying: "Lā ilāha illallāh wahdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa Huwa alā kulli shay'in Qadīr, wa lā hawla wa lā quwwata illā billāhil-Aliyyil-Azīm" (There is no god but Allah, He is One, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and all praise, and He is over all things competent. And there is no might nor power except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great) has a superior reward due to the virtuous additions it contains and the mention of some of Allah's names and attributes.
