Does Fatwa No. 114909 apply to the love of children?

What was mentioned in the fatwa (definition) does not apply to the love of children, but two things are cautioned against in loving them:

1. Excessive Love: If love leads to disobedience of Allah or neglecting His obedience, then it is blameworthy, for Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, indeed, among your wives and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them." (At-Taghabun:14). This love may distract one from righteous deeds or lead to cutting ties of kinship or disobeying the Lord. As explained in the exegesis, the enmity lies in them turning one away from acts of obedience, or compelling one to acquire unlawful things. The other verse clarifies this meaning, as Allah Almighty says: "Say, 'If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your relatives, the wealth you have acquired, the trade in which you fear stagnation, and dwellings of which you approve are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and striving in His cause, then wait until Allah executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.'" (At-Tawbah (definition):24).

2. The transformation of natural love into lustful love: If love transforms into lust, the matter moves from what is permissible to what is forbidden, and from obedience to immorality and disobedience.
