The answer

The husband's problem lies in the bad company he has recently come to know, for the influence of a companion on his companion is an established fact, both Islamically and practically. The example of a good companion is like the bearer of musk, and a bad companion is like the blower of bellows, and "A person is on the religion of his friend, so let each of you look at whom he befriends." So, if the husband abandons this company and replaces it with righteous companions, he will return to his previous state, God willing. Otherwise, he will lose his religion and his worldly life and will regret it, as Allah Almighty says: "And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands, he will say, 'Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way.' Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken such-and-such a friend. He led me astray from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter." Therefore, the husband must rid himself of this company. One can refer to No. 34397 to learn how to avoid bad companions.
