The answer

This speaks about the trials of the end times, where ignorance will increase and righteous people will decrease, resulting in increased killing and chaos among people amidst great trials that perplex them.

It is stated in the hadith: "(The killer will not know why he is killing, nor the killed why he was killed)."

The hadiths have clarified that the Hour will not come until knowledge is taken away and "al-harj" (killing) increases.

Al-Qurtubi and Al-Nawawi mentioned that if the fighting is based on ignorance or following desires, then the killer and the killed are in Hellfire, and that this applies to one who has no valid interpretation and fights out of partisanship.

Killing will increase in the end times in cases of trials-related fighting, or partisan wars, or random mass killings, or harassing people with killing due to foolishness, or not knowing the legitimate Islamic justification for killing.

We ask Allah for safety and well-being.
