Is it permissible for a woman to remove her niqab to work in a government job to provide a decent life for her children, in light of difficult financial circumstances?

Scholars have differed on the permissibility for a woman to uncover her face in front of non-mahram men when there is no fear of temptation. Our Fatwa (ruling) is that it is not permissible. Whoever fears Allah and trusts in Him, He will suffice him in every concern; as Allah Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him."
