Is a child considered motherless (an orphan of the mother) if his mother dies 46 days after his birth? And is a father raising his son—while assuming the roles of both mother and father—a righteous deed that will admit him to Paradise? And how can a Muslim increase good deeds other than prayer and remembrance? And will a man be reunited with his first wife in the Barzakh and in Paradise if he marries after her?

An orphan is one whose father died before he reached puberty. A father's upbringing of his children is a righteous deed and a religious duty; for the father is a guardian and responsible for his household. Entry into Paradise is contingent upon faith, righteous deeds, and a good ending. Good deeds can be increased by multiplying acts of worship such as fasting, helping others, and fulfilling their needs. A man's marriage to another woman does not prevent his reunion with his first wife in Paradise if they are among its inhabitants, and righteous family members will be joined together therein as an honor from Allah.
