Is it permissible for a woman to commit zina (fornication/adultery) to obtain her sustenance and provide for her children, if she has searched extensively and found no work?

Adultery is a grave sin, forbidden by the Quran, the Sunnah, and the consensus of the Muslim community. It entails tremendous evils, such as the violation of honor and the mixing of lineages. It is not permissible for a woman to use it as a means of livelihood, for the fear of Allah brings forth an exit and provision from where one does not expect, as Allah the Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect." The Muslim woman must seek assistance from Allah, then from her Muslim brethren and organizations, to find lawful work or a righteous husband. There are many permissible professions such as cooking, cleaning, sewing, and others. If she does not find work in her country, she should search in another. She should also frequently seek forgiveness, for it brings provision and relief.
