What is the ruling on severing ties with a female colleague who betrayed those around her and distorted the facts, taking into consideration that cutting ties with her will lead to accusations of negligence regarding her rights from other colleagues?

A Muslim loves good for his brothers, prefers them over himself, and treats them as one body. As it is stated in the Hadith: "The believer to the believer is like a solid structure, parts of which support other parts," and "None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." If a colleague strives for her promotion alone, it is advisable to be patient and seek Allah's help, respond to her actions with kindness, overlook her shortcomings, exert effort to catch up on what was missed, and frequently supplicate with: "O Allah, whatever You have bestowed upon me of what I love, make it a strength for me in what You love, and whatever You have withheld from me of what I love, make it a void for me in what You love." As for people's reproaches regarding patience, they should not be heeded.
