What were the professions of the prophets Noah, Adam, and Muhammad—peace be upon them—and of the Companions Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq and Al-Zubayr ibn Al-Awwam—may Allah be pleased with them?

The greatest professions of the Prophets and Companions are calling to Allah and striving in His path. It is established that Noah (peace be upon him) built the Ark, and it is mentioned that the Prophet (peace be upon him) engaged in trade before prophethood. However, after his mission, he did not travel except for jihad, migration, da’wah (calling to Islam), Hajj, or Umrah. As the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "I have been sent at the hour with the sword until Allah alone is worshipped, with no partner associated with Him. My provision has been placed beneath the shade of my spear, and humiliation and insignificance have been placed upon whoever disobeys my command." Abu Bakr and Al-Zubair were traders, yet they dedicated themselves to jihad and da’wah alongside the Prophet (peace be upon him).
