What is the ruling on using an old axe by burning it and urinating on it to cure sorcery, and is it permissible to follow what one of the early scholars (Salaf) ruled in this regard?

What has been mentioned about urinating on an old axe heated by fire to break magic spells is a superstition and is not befitting a monotheist. Attributing the permissibility of this act to Ibn al-Qayyim is unproven; rather, it is closer to the actions of sorcerers.
