Does a triple divorce occur if a father, out of anger towards his daughter, says to her, "Your mother is thrice divorced," linking that to her going to the dentist?

The father conditioned his wife's triple divorce on their daughter going to the dentist. If the daughter goes, then the issued fatwa is that the triple divorce occurs, and the wife becomes irrevocably divorced with a major divorce (baynunah kubra) according to most scholars. Some scholars, like Ibn Taymiyyah, are of the view that a conditional divorce not intended as a divorce takes the ruling of an oath, and expiation (kaffarah) is due upon breaking it, with no divorce occurring. Ibn Taymiyyah also holds that a divorce pronounced as triple counts as a single divorce. The divorce of an angry person occurs unless his sanity is completely gone. To avoid the occurrence of divorce, the daughter must avoid going to the dentist. Anger must be avoided and treated, and the husband should not use divorce as a means to solve problems.
